Career Education Corporation is a large, publicly traded company comprised of a growing network of high-quality educational systems from AIU to Le Cordon Bleu. Chipman Design Architecture was commissioned to create a physical presence for the online Colorado Technical University by designing its prototype Student Access Center at an inline retail center in Denver. The firm brought high-level design integrity to the CTU facility by incorporating a retail ambiance within the facility’s spaces while conscientiously adhering to the project’s stringent economic criteria.

This 3,000 SqFt flagship provides an innovative setting for the on-site Admissions Advisor who serves as the liaison to University Departments, interfacing as the prospective student’s advocate. Since CTU’s online programming has no need for traditional teaching facilities, the Success Center also supports student collaboration by offering an array of computer amenities and comfortable student lounges with full video projection capabilities.
