Restaurant Design: Epic Burger

Epic Burger came onto the Chicago restaurant scene in 2008, introducing the creation of “a more mindful burger” to the city.   Based on the success of its first concept store in the West Loop, Epic Burger sought out Chipman Design to assist with architectural development and restaurant design of its bold metropolitan expansion program.
 
Working in the food industry as a chef and restaurateur for 25 years, the founder of Epic Burger brought his elite menu of non-processed high-integrity wholesome food to the Chipman design boards.  The ensuing collaboration on a series of four more restaurants during 2011 translated the wholesome burgers and fresh-cut fries menu into an interior environment that delivered an ambiance of affordable, trustworthy and “all natural deliciousness.”
